Hey Pixel FX family! We’ve been working behind the scenes on some awesome new products for you, but we can’t share any teasers with you just yet.
But while we can’t talk about any new hardware, let’s talk about some new software updates in the latest firmware version 3.11.95!
Dreamcast GameID Support for GDEMU
We’ve added GameID support to the Dreamcast RetroGEM / Morph for GDEMU users without the need for VMU Pro or Pro 2. Get support for profile switching for the Morph or RetroGEM if you are using a GDEMU now!
However you will need to use this custom version of Open Menu for GDEMU. Grab it here: https://firmware.pixelfx.co/openmenu.zip

Automatic Native Resolution Switching
Any products using FX-Framework (RetroGEM / Morph) now support the ability to automatically switch to the connected display’s native resolution when no resolution is chosen.Â
On power-up, the device will look at the display’s EDID information, and switch to the display’s native modeline, or fallback to 1080p if the native resolution cannot be determined.
Remember you can dump EDID with both your morph and RetroGEM. Just visit the web UI of your product to see a full EDID dump.
Check out these changes and more in the latest test/ unstable release! https://firmware.pixelfx.co/Stay tuned for more announcements as we continue pushing the boundaries of retro tech. If you have questions or feedback, join us on Discord:Â http://discord.gg/pixelfx
