May saw the launch of our Analog Bridge module for the Morph 4K—here’s what else we’ve been up to!
May has flown by, and we’re thrilled to share the latest from the Pixel FX crew! While we’ve been hard at work tackling your feedback on the Analog Bridge launch, we’re also looking ahead to some exciting developments. Grab a controller, and let’s dive into what’s new!

Analog Bridge Updates
First off, a massive THANK YOU to everyone who’s been using the Analog Bridge! The Analog Bridge unlocks the full capability of the Morph 4K upscaler, allowing you to scale your consoles with analog video outputs. Your input has been greatly appreciated, and we’re blown away by how it’s enhancing your retro gaming setups.
We’ve been quick to tackle reported issues. For instance, we’ve fixed a color space issue with component video that should address the colors being incorrect. This update is live in the latest “unstable” branch firmware—give it a spin!
Got a bug to report? Swing by our Discord server (discord.gg/pixelfx) and let us know. Please test with the “unstable” branch first, as it gets fixes faster than the “stable” branch. (And a quick heads-up: keep the convo civil and tech-focused—no drama, please!)
We’re not stopping there. Here’s what’s on our radar for Analog Bridge firmware:
Better auto resolution detection
Auto decimation / auto phase detection
Gen lock for improved sync performance
These might already be in progress by the time you read this, so check the latest unstable firmware for the freshest updates!
Wii RetroGEM Coming Next
While the Analog Bridge has been keeping us busy, we’re pumped to provide some updates about the Wii RetroGEM—our next big thing for Wii fans! The final flex revision has passed internal testing and is now with our testers for feedback.
Unlike other Wii video mods, Wii RetroGEM stands out by not being based off of the GCVideo project. So, what’s the hype about?
Gorgeous Output: Wii classics on modern TVs.
Native OSD Control: Adjust settings on-screen using GameCube controllers or Wii Motes.
Works on all models including the Wii Mini
No release date yet, but once testing wraps, we’ll kick off production. Trust us—this could be the ultimate Wii mod you’ve been waiting for!
Infinity Switch Back in Development
It’s been a minute since we last mentioned the Infinity Switch, and we’re happy to say it’s back in development! With Morph 4K and Analog Bridge taking center stage, this project took a backseat—but not anymore.
The Infinity Switch aims to be a great companion audio/video switch for the Morph 4K and Analog Bridge. An entirely new design is ready with samples incoming, and our team is testing compatibility across a ton of different consoles. We can’t give any timelines just yet, as we’re taking our time with the development and testing of the Infinity Switch so that it meets the high expectations the community has of it.
